Savage 110BA Fore-end Rail – SFR – We are proud to introduce the new SFR (part number BT45) that will mount using the existing Sling Stud bracket holes on the Savage 110BA fore end without modification. Once installed it will provide a low profile 1913 Picatinny rail for attaching the BT10 or BT10-LW17 Atlas Bipod or other accessories to your Savage 110BA.
Note: The BT45 fits the original Savage 110BA only. It DOES NOT fit the Savage 110BA Stealth which has a single sling stud hole and uses M-LOK slots.
The BT45 Rail Kit is ready to install, the uniquely dimensioned nuts will fit into the two factory holes that are used to attach the factory Sling Stud bracket without disassembly and provide a solid solution to getting a rail on this rifle platform. We suggest using a Loctite such as 243 when installing the BT45. The BT45 is American made from 6061-T6 Aluminum with a Milspec Type III hard coat black with 4041 Alloy steel fasteners having a Manganese Phosphate finish.
WHILE WE REFERENCED A BONIFIED FACTORY SAVAGE 110BA STOCK TO MEASURE THE SLING STUD BRACKET HOLE SPACING, IT HAS COME TO OUR ATTENTION THAT THE NEWER VERSION OF THIS STOCK (110BA STEALTH) HAVE A DIFFERENT HOLE SPACING. AS SUCH WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU CONFIRM THE CENTER TO CENTER HOLE SPACING DIMENSION OF .46 ON YOUR SAVAGE 110BA TO INSURE PROPER FIT OF THE BT45. THE 110 BA STEALTH STOCK HAS A SINGLE HOLE AND M-LOK SLOTS
