ATP Buttstock Picatinny Accessory Rail for ORYX Gen 1 Chassis – Australian Made

We only use quality gear at Australian Tactical Precision (ATP), this principal also extends to the products we manufacture.

We are big fans of the MDT ORYX Chassis. One thing that was missing is a picatinny accessory rail for the buttstock so that we could mount an Accushot Monopod. So we made one for it. Edges are also chamfered and contoured to avoid snagging.

It is attached by installing the 9mm (approx 3/8″) thick pad spacer/adaptor between your recoil pad and the chassis butt, this is the same spacer/adaptor that comes with our ATP Ultimate Bag Rider for the ORYX Gen 1 (bag rider sold separately). A oversized cap head screw (M8 diameter, 20mm length) then bolts the picatinny rail to your spacer/adaptor. We have designed it so that the extra thick spacer/adaptor and oversized bolt combination makes it very stiff and almost impossible to bend under normal use.

Available as the picatinny rail only (for those who already have the pad/adaptor from the our ATP Ultimate Bag Rider for the ORYX Gen 1, or with the spacer/adaptor and M8 bolt.

NOTE: These bag riders will only fit the Gen 1 MDT Oryx Chassis which does not have an M-LOK slot on the underside of the buttstock. The Gen 2 Oryx has an M-LOK slot on the underside of the buttstock so this version will not fit.

Our rails and spacer/adaptors are made in Australia from a solid piece of Australian 6061-T6 aircraft aluminium bar stock on USA made CNC machines, and are MIL-Spec Type III hard coat anodised for the ultimate in scratch resistance.

They are made to MIL-STD-1913 and STANAG 4694 Specifications which hold tighter tolerances than rails made by other manufacturers.
