We only use quality gear at Australian Tactical Precision (ATP), this principal also extends to the products we manufacture.
We are big fans of the MDT chassis and buttstocks. One thing that we wanted to improve on was the recoil pad, and nothing is as good as a Limbsaver. So we made an adaptor for it that is perfectly machined so it looks like a factory extra. We chose the #10812 model Airtech recoil pad (modified) as it is an exceptionally spongy pad that suits the MDT chassis/Buttstock really well, Limbsaver states that it can reduce up to 70% of felt recoil. It includes a full set of screws and mounting hardware so that you can fit it to any MDT chassis or buttstock and still use any combination of MDT pad spacers.
Note: This will fit all MDT chassis systems and buttstocks (including the HNT-26 for those that keep asking) with the exception of the MDT Field Stock.
Please Note: Our adaptor and pad combination will increase your length of pull (LOP) by ½” (12mm).
The pack includes our adapter, a modified Limbsaver 10812 Airtech recoil pad, 3mm Hex and 1/8″ Allen key wrenchs, and all the screws needed to install it to your MDT chassis or buttstock.
Our adaptors are made in Australia from a solid piece of Australian 6061-T6 aircraft aluminium bar stock on USA made CNC machines, and are MIL-Spec Type III hard coat anodised for the ultimate in scratch resistance.
