We are big fans of the Aussie made TSP-X Chassis by Southern Cross Small Arms (and their Taipan Light /Taipan X pump action rifle). One thing that we wanted to improve on was the recoil pad, and nothing is as good as a Limbsaver. So we made an adaptor for it that is perfectly contoured so it looks like a factory extra. We chose the #10829 model Tactical recoil pad as it is an exceptionally spongy pad that suits the buttstock really well, Limbsaver states that it can reduce up to 60% of felt recoil. Our adaptor and pad combination won’t increase your length of pull (LOP) so you can still use from 1 to 4 of the factory spacers.
The pack includes our adapter, a Limbsaver 10829 recoil pad, a (3mm Hex) allen key and all the screws needed to install it to your Southern Cross Small Arms TSP-X or Taipan Light / Taipan X.
Our adaptors are made in Australia from a solid piece of Australian 6061-T6 aircraft aluminium bar stock on USA made CNC machines, and are MIL-Spec Type III hard coat anodised for the ultimate in scratch resistance.
