X-Ray Chassis (Generation 4) Unprecedented value…This is what the X-Ray chassis provides to you.
When you pick up the X-Ray, it will feel nice and light compared to other chassis. You’ll have nearly identical ergonomics to the Whiskey-3 with only a little more time involved in adjusting the different aspects like the length of pull.
Furthermore, you’ll have all the standard benefits of an adjustable rifle stock; i.e. chassis, like the use of AICS magazines, a variety of mounting points for slings, barrier stops, etc., and aluminum block bedding for the action while not having to sell off a kidney to pay the price of admission.
To accomplish our design intent, we kept the features that everyone wants and needs and eliminated those that weren’t necessary or featured on other replacement rifle stocks.. Then we utilized efficient manufacturing processes to keep production costs down and in turn keep the price to the shooter down. The end result is a hybrid aluminum and polymer chassis that we think you’ll love.
We’re proud to present the X-Ray chassis, the result of years of careful design, thought, refinement, and hard work.
***Gen 4 is current version as of July 2020. The change is a new one piece backend, which comes standard with tool-less buttpad height and cant adjustment, as well as a ambidextrous cheekpiece thumbscrew.
Select your rifle variant from the drop down list. SA is Short Action, LA is Long Action. RH is for Right Handed, LH is for Left Handed.
NOTE: This listing is for the X-Ray Chassis and comes with 1 front sling stud, 3 LOP Spacers and 1 L2 Polymer Picatinny rail. Some photos show optional extras which are not included, such as the magazine, night vision hood, or the spigot mount.
All of our chassis take AICS magazines (unless otherwise noted) with nothing extra needed, the magazine is not included.
Actions with trigger hangers will not work without mods to the chassis, hanger, or both.
Remington 700:
We do not guarantee the proper function of Vudoo V22 or Bergara B-14r (rimfire) magazines in our chassis. It may be necessary to install and fit our Extended Mag Catch (sold separately) for proper feeding.
The front action screw requires an extended bit (3/16 hex for Rem700). Alternatively the forend can be removed for direct access to the screw.
”Blue-printed” long action Remington 700 receivers may not fit Rem LA inlet.
Remington 700 long action chassis come with a Whiskey-3 forend and take 3.850″ (CIP) length AICS pattern magazines or 3.715″ AICS mags with included spacer. The Whiskey-3 style forend does not have M-Lok on the bottom.
Left Handed models are only available in Black.
Tikka T3/T3x:
The Tikka inlet accepts T3, T3x, and CTR versions, however slight mods may be required on the trigger-guard for the T3 TAC A1 to function properly. Tikka rifles accept AICS pattern mags with the exception of the Magpul AICS polymer mags.
The front action screw requires an extended bit (5mm hex for Tikka/Howa). Alternatively the forend can be removed for direct access to the screw.
We do not offer a Tikka inlet that accepts long action (.300WM, .30-06, 7mm Rem Mag, etc…) magazines.
