Our Picatinny Scope Rails are made in Australia from a solid piece of Australian 6061-T6 aircraft aluminium bar stock on USA made CNC machines, and are MIL-Spec Type III hard coat anodised for the ultimate in scratch resistance.
Cross slots are full width to ensure that your scope ring’s recoil lug are contacting the entire picatinny slot face for improved precision. Rail sections are contoured to avoid snagging.
They are made to MIL-STD-1913 and STANAG 4694 Specifications which hold tighter tolerances than rails made by other manufacturers, and come with the required fasteners to mount to your rifle.
This rail uses the factory Ruger M77 scope ring attachment cut-outs so no modifications are required to your rifle. It will fit the Ruger M77, M77 Mk2, Hawkeye, and Gunsight Scout rifles. Right handed only. We have both Short and Long action variants. We have made these rails long (Short Action 157mm / 6.18 inches, Long Action 164mm / 6.45 inches) so that you can mount digital Night Vision and Thermal scopes without any issues. Comes with steel screws and clamps to mount to your action.
To determine if your rifle is the short action you need to measure from the center of the rear scope ring slot on the top of the receiver to the center of the front scope ring slot. The short action is approximately 102mm long, and the long action approximately 109mm.
Our rails will fit most Ruger M77 rifles, however, Ruger have been known to make some rifles that are out of spec, and therefore our rail will not fit these rifles as our recoil lugs will not fit in the recoil slots cut into the top of the receiver.
You will need to take some measurements of your rifle with some vernier calipers to check that it will fit before ordering. Place your calipers inside the scope ring recoil slots that are cut into your receiver and using the calipers internal jaws, the outside face to outside face needs to be 104.4mm or larger for short action rifles (111.5mm or larger for long action rifles). Now using the calipers external jaws in the same recoil slots, the inside face to inside face needs to be 99.4mm or smaller for short action rifles (106.5mm or smaller for long action rifles).
