EGW Hunter Series Picatinny Weaver Scope Mount Rail Bases

Introducing the newest addition to the EGW lineup; our Hunter series picatinny scope mount. We saw the need for a shorter, lighter, heavy duty, picatinny scope mount and this is what we came up with. After countless hours of prototyping and testing, the Hunter mount was born.

Featuring:

• 7075 T6 aluminum for an extremely durable yet lightweight construction.
• Type III hardcoat anodizing protects the mount from whatever nature can throw at it.
• Chamfered edges provide a snag free hunt.
• A compact overall length sheds 15% of its weight compared to our other Heavy Duty mounts.

Installation: EGW recommends 20 inch lbs of torque and a drip of blue loctite.

Notes:

51800/51802 Savage Edge, Axis, Axis II: This mount is made specific to the new Savage AXIS/AXIS II (formerly the Savage Edge) rifle. The bolt pattern on the mount works for any caliber of the rifle. This mount does not fit: Savage AXIS II Precision (Drilled for #8-40 Screws), Savage AXIS II Precision XP (Drilled for #8-40 Screws)

51000/51002 Savage Round Back Short Action: Mounts manufactured after 12/2020 are drilled to accommodate larger diameter screws (#8-40) and now come with #6-48 and #8-40 screws. The head diameter on the #6-48 screws provided with this mount is larger than our normal #6-48 screws.

50100/50102 Remington 700, 721, 725, Sauer 100/101, Bergara B14 Long Action: Mounts manufactured after 12/2020 are drilled to accommodate larger diameter screws (#8-40) and now come with #6-48 and #8-40 screws. 54000/54002 TIKKA T3 & T3X RAILS: Tikka T3 rifles made after 2003 use 6-48 screws. Guns before 2003 use 3.5 x .5 metric screws. We only provide the 6-48 screw variant.
