The Pro Series Die Set (designed for progressive machines) includes the NxGEN carbide sizing die (NX-C) but does not include an expander die because most popular progressive machines expand the case mouth at the powder drop station.
A special seating die (PRO ST) is supplied with a large entry radius but does not provide bullet crimpingability. This set is also supplied with a specialized Profile Crimp Die (CR) or Taper Crimp Die if the cartridge headspace is on the case mouth.
Although designed specifically for progressive reloading, Pro series die sets also work exceptionally well with single stage presses if an expander die is purchased separately. The best possible handloads can be attained by crimping after the bullet has been seated in place.
